How We Work

Our services include interviews, research, ideation, planning, advice, referrals, hands-on work in styling, cooking, demonstration of household tasks, and vendor/project management as needed.

Unlike many interior designers, art advisers, and similar providers, we do not take any commissions from any vendors and do not pass through any purchases or contracts. We have zero incentive to push you to spend more or select certain vendors or items. We are not licensed or professional interior designers or architects. 

To help clients decide whether to proceed, we offer an initial assessment and recommendation service to produce a written, actionable report with a ballpark budget prior to the first three-month commitment. The assessment will take 1-2 weeks with several interviews and some research to complete. 

We need your time to get to know you and work with you on the most important choices, but that can be scaled based on other commitments and you can delegate more or less to us as your circumstances warrant.

We structure our work on a monthly retainer basis, with a minimum initial three-month contract, and options for 25%, 50%, and 75% of our time, with the understanding that week to week there may be some fluctuation in time required or spent within a given contract.
