I am proud to have preserved and enhanced this little piece of San Francisco's rich architectural history.

The San Francisco house on Jones St was the first house I owned that I had the chance to really do down to the studs. It was a 1936 Spanish colonial built by an Italian family who had owned the Victorian next door, and I bought it completely original from their descendants in 2013.

Jefferson Mack of mackmetal.com made the amazing custom iron gate for me that set the tone for the whole property, and I established pockets of outdoor space on the lower level where there had been none.

I added bathrooms, opened up walls while not destroying the basic structure, and restored and doubled down on the architectural details. More pink, more gold, no can lights, no greywashing.

I am proud to have preserved and enhanced this little piece of San Francisco's rich architectural history.
